Feb. 2024, 16:00 - 21:00 Lokal Harmonie Als Gäste: NN | electronics Kai Niggemann | electronics, Buchla 200e Vom Haus: Thomas Machoczek, Andreas Hilburg, Tim Kesseler, Wolfgang van Ackeren (engl. below) Die Reihe "BASSTHERAPIE" versucht die experimentelle Musik, die das Lokal seit 2010 vertritt, auf die unendlichen Weiten (und Tiefen!) des Dub-Systems von RISE-UP-HIFI zu übertragen. Dh. zusätzlich zu unerer quadrophonen Grundausstattung nutzen wir die Power des Systems: Mit Einsatz seines individuell zusammengestellten und selbst gebauten Soundsystems: einer 5-Wege Beschallungsanlage, bestehend aus 13 einzelnen Lautsprecher- Modulen. Die Sub Bässe setzten sich aus 4 x 18’’, die Kick Bässe aus 2 x 15’’, die tiefen Mitten aus 2 x 12“, die hohen Mitten aus 3 x 1“ und die höhen aus 2 x 1“ Membranen zusammen. Die Treiber haben in Summe etwa 8000 RMS Musikleistung, welche durch die Hornbauweise noch zusätzlich verstärkt werden. Wir testen diese Konstellation (improvisierte experimentelle elektronische und elektroakustische Musik trifft DUB) im Hinblick auf ein größeres Vorhaben, das wir am 24.8.24. als open-air in Ruhrort realisieren wollen. The "BASSTHERAPIE" series attempts to transfer the experimental music that the venue has represented since 2010 to the infinite expanses (and depths!) of the Dub-System of RISE-UP-HIFI. In addition to our basic quadrophonic equipment, we utilise the power of the system, with the use of his individually assembled and self-built sound system: a 5-way sound system consisting of 13 individual loudspeaker modules. The sub basses consist of 4 x 18'', the kick basses of 2 x 15'', the low mids of 2 x 12", the high mids from 3 x 1" and the highs from 2 x 1" cones. The drivers have a total music output of around 8000 RMS, which is further amplified by the horn design. We are testing this constellation (improvised experimental electronic and electroacoustic music on DUB) with a view to a larger project that we are planning as an open-air event in Ruhrort on 24.8.24.
